Dublin, Day 3

Trim, County Meath, A region of Ireland that is steeped in legend and history.  It was my chosen destination, however not for the aformentioned reason. I was on mission to find and pay homage to the singer and banjo player, the late Barney Mckenna. I walked across and through the small town of Trim and found the country plot of St. Lomans. Here is one of the famed Dubliners that if only I had a chance I would have shook his earthly hand.

Afterwards, I meandered over to the famed Trim Castle and poked about the yard and oggled the towering Norman Castle. I’d show you some pictures but theres enough on google to fill your fancy.  It’s time to wash my clothes and draw a finish on day 3 of the pilgrimage. Tomorrow, I will be getting out to the country; going down to wicklow and Hellfire Mountain Club.
